1 July 2022 - Beautiful hanok style tea house, 차마시는뜰

We walked over to 차마시는뜰 for tea after a good lunch at 황생가칼국수

The friendly staff at the entrance greeted us and said something like, "It is very humid here."

So strange to hear this remark hahaha so I replied,"Oh nooo. Not as humid as where I came from."

He was surprised and said,"You are from Singapore??"

Hahahahaa Yes, I am.

So I guess Singapore is known for being humid lol

My 꽃얼음차 ice flower tea and 재's 쌍화탕 Ssanghwatang.

The place was really nice but would be better if there were lesser people lol

차마시는뜰 is about 15mins walk from Anguk station, exit 1.

1 July 2022 - Kalguksu & mandu for lunch at 황생가칼국수

We came to this Michelin restaurant for lunch.

The queue was long but we only waited for maybe 10-15mins.

The soup looks bare becos I dun take beef lol

The mandu were good ~ ~

So juicy ^^

About 11mins walk from Anguk Station, exit 1.

30 Jun 2022 - Back home ~~

Inflight meal on OZ752 bound for Incheon Airport.

The chicken was good *yummzzzz

Some kind of mousse.

Meeting 재 at Jongno 5(o)-ga Station.

So I took the subway from Incheon airport and transferred at Seoul station.

I dun come here often so I was surprised to see this conveyor belt at Seoul station ^^  

10 April 2022 - Safe & sound back in SG

Time to head back to SG..

Made a trip to Bongeunsa to give thanks before my flight back.

My first overseas trip since covid.

Feel sad to see Incheon airport so empty.

My first time to see nobody at the tax refund kiosks.

Btw, the cash refunds which you will be getting at counter 28 (transit area) only comes in Japanese Yen, US dollar and Renminbi(yuan).

No Korean won!!!! 

It was the same during my Summer trip when I came back on 11 July 2022.

I chose to do my supervised ART in the airport cos I did not want to spend my time going for testing prior my departure.

I was busy catching the late arrival of the cherry blossoms this year..

With this picture, it means I passed my pre departure test.

If you have been following my blog, you may have realised I never take bibimbap(only once maybe).

Not becos I missed this Chinese style food but becos bibimbap comes with minced beef.

The chicken was nice.

The ice cream alike was actually some kind of mousse.

The salad was nice.

That is all for my updates on my Spring trip 2022. It definitely feels super good to travel again and I am deeply grateful for that. I will only be able to post my Summer trip 2022 (just a short trip) maybe in Dec 2022 cos need to do some research for my upcoming Autumn trip. Please take note that many things could have changed since covid.  Places, operation hours etc could have changed so do not blame me for any inaccurate information.

Even if it is not due to covid, many information which I have shared years ago could have changed over time as well.  I am not an expert in Korea, I have to do plenty of research prior to my trips too.  Having this blog is just to share my experiences (especially non touristy spots) in my beloved country, Korea.  

Last but not least, if you noticed, I have opened up my comment section again but I will close it up if I get nonsense ads or any indirect ads again.  I also do not like to answer questions such as what is the bus schedule.  If I know the answer, I would have post it already. 

9 April 2022 - Where magical unfolds at Yangjaecheon

Came back to Yangjae Citizen's Forest station, exit 1 again.

I was here on 2 April 2022 and I told you in my previous post that I will show you magic ~ ~ ~

My heart skipped a beat as the magic unfolds before my eyes.

I cropped this picture becos it was very hard to take picture with just the flowers and stream in the background.

See what I mean?

Every empty spot will be quickly filled up with people.

The most popular spot along the stream lol

Very scary to see so many people.....especially when people took off their masks to take pictures.

I can understand they took off their masks to take a proper picture with the beautiful background but I felt threatened hahahaha

Why??

Cos during this travel period, I still need to do a PCR/Supervised ART for pre departure back to SG.

I think our friend here had the best view, the best undisturbed position, the best surroundings.

Yangjaecheon is definitely one of my top choices for cherry blossoms in Seoul ^^
