17 Oct 2013 - 찬양집 에서 칼국수먹는것

From Muakjae station, I took the subway to Jongno 3(sam)-ga Station. exit 6 for lunch at 찬양집 Channyangjip.
Walk straight from exit 6.

About 2 mins later, there will be a bend on your right.
One can easily miss it, so keep a look out.
Turn right into the small lane.

You will see eateries lined on both sides of the lane.
찬양집 Channyangjip is just a few steps down the lane as shown by the arrow.

I always enjoy eating at this type of eatery ^^

I came here becos I wanted to taste their Kalguksu. Heard that it specialised in Kalguksu for years. Another popular Kalguksu place in the area is 할머니칼국수 Halmeonie Kalguksu, which was a few steps away from Channyangjip. Channyangjip also has 고기만두(Meat Mandu) and 김치만두(Kimchi Mandu). Well, I did not order the mandu becos I think the bowl of Kalguksu will be quite a large serving.

I am not a fan of thick noodles.
That is why I hardly eat 수제비 Sujebi.
This bowl of Kalguksu was not bad.
I liked the clear and tasty broth.
It would be perfect if the noodles were thin ㅎㅎㅎ
