18 Oct 2012 - Seoul Eulalia Festival 서울억새축제 2012 at Haneul Park

I came to Haneul Park for Seoul Eulalia Festival 서울억새축제 2012 even though I have no idea what is Eulalia.  I only know the place will be filled with silver grass. The next question is what is silver grass??  How does it looks like??

Shuttle service?

It was very cold up here.
Thank goodness, I bought a long knitted dress when I was on my way to meet Jae.
Yeah...shopping again ㅋㅋㅋ

The grass was taller than me..Actually, I don't know whether is this silver grass a not.  Maybe not.
I think I saw two main types of grass here.

Pictures in this post are mainly the silver grass.
Oh dear, I really don't know how to take a good picture of them ㅠㅠ
Many Koreans brought their tripods, while I only have a normal camera ㅋㅋㅋ
I have neither the skill nor a good camera to capture the beautiful silver grass ㅎㅎㅎ
The most important thing is, I have been here to see the place.

My friends said this is "Lalang" when they saw my pictures from Instagram. Hahahaa..That was exactly what I thought when I first saw the silver grass. I checked the Internet and somebody said Cogon grass is also Lalang grass.  Well, I don't know. They are grass to me. Here's a link for Pictures of Lalang grass.

Many Koreans stood on the thin wooden poles to have their pictures taken. Yeah..I think the pictures would turn out nice! I dare not stand on the poles becos it looked too unstable for me to stand on it. I don't want to fall flat on the ground! Hahahahaa.. Anyway, I think it is not allowed to stand on the poles becos I saw people were asked to come down from the poles.

I can understand why they are called silver grass  ^^

Ermmmm...Finally, I followed what some of the Koreans did. I stood on the thin wooden poles!!  So embrassing to admit this ㅎㅎㅎ Told myself just once will do!  Hahahaa..I couldn't capture nice pictures of the grass so I decided to attempt to take from the top view. Hmmm...Guess I still have a lot to learn about photography ㅋㅋㅋ Fortunately, I was not "caught".  Hahahaaa..It would be good if they can provide some photo taking spots, so that people will not try to stand on those wooden poles.

He is so cute!

Saw the bowl-shaped observatory from a far.

Ladies wearing skirts have to be careful here...

View from the top of the observatory.

Eulalia grass = Silver grass ^^

I like people who take good care of their pets ^^

I think it makes a nice place for dates ^^

It was getting dark.  I wish I can stay longer..
It was also getting colder but it will be lovely at night becos of the beautiful light up for this festival.

Woww...look at that.

Ooppss....미안해.  I didn't mean to disturb you ㅋㅋㅋ

안녕 하늘공원..
Hope to be back again.

Is this the shuttle service?   There was a long queue for it.

Making my way down..
Brgghhh..it was really cold that day..

Even the carpark was so pretty ㅋㅋㅋ

Woww...The zigzag stairway was lit up ^^
