시루애월 Siru Aewol

I took bus to come here for brunch.

Not very accessible becos I waited a long time for the village bus...

It was a raining day and I felt a bit lazy to get out from the airbnb.

The cafe was really cozy and this sofa made me felt even more lazy hahahaha

I could smell the food before it reached my table ^^

The best mugwort latte 쑥라떼 I ever had!

So good that I almost ordered a second cup to laze in the cafe!

I took bus no. 201 from 도대불 (Lighthouse) to my next stop, Cafe 깃든.

Travelling time including walking took me about 35mins.

I drank a lot of hot green tangerine tea this Autumn lol

From 북촌에가면, it takes about 90 mins by foot to reach my destination, 봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center (as depicted by the red marker).  김녕금속공예 벽화마을 Gimnyeong Metal Craft Mural Village (as depicted by the red star) is about 5mins walk away from 봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center. 

김녕금속공예 벽화마을 Gimnyeong Metal Craft Mural Village (as depicted by the green marker) is about 5mins walk away from 봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center(as depicted by the red marker).

I stopped by 김녕금속공예 벽화마을 Gimnyeong Metal Craft Mural Village briefly.

I just walked along the coast instead of focusing on my destination, 봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center.

To be honest, I dunno if I managed to find my destination lol

Why?

Cos the place that I wanted to go was a path that stretches out towards the sea.

However, the path can only be seen at low tide.

I can't remember if its low tide that day but I remembered the sky was gloomy and felt that it was going to rain.

This blog gave a good illustration on the location of the mysterious path.

봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center as depicted by the brown circle.

The mysterious path is in front of the centre. The blue circle is the carpark.

But I did not notice 봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center,

so probably I did not locate the right place.

Anyway, I was too enticed by the view below ^^

It does not matter whether I found the right place. 

In fact,I totally forgotten about the mysterious path.

So from the surrounding of 봉지동복지회관 Bongji-dong Welfare Center, I walked over to 청굴물 Cheonggulmul.  Naver map shows it takes about 5mins by foot but I could not remember how long I took. I was too busy enjoying my walk lol

청굴물 Cheonggulmul has a cafe but I did not really check it out.

That's the Cheonggulmul (spring water).

 It submerged at high tide and reappears at low tide.

From 청굴물 Cheonggulmul, it takes about 5min walk to 도대불 Dodaebul (Lighthouse).

Ermmm....not sure why I did not take a proper picture of the light house lol
