8 April 2019 - Walking up to Seoul Tower

                

          Decided to walk to Seoul Tower to burn off the calories I had from my burger.

Hmmm...it was a long walk lol

I was sure I burnt off more calories than I had consumed.

I came here without much expectations to see full bloom.

So does this mean the flowers here have just started to sprout?

Just a brief visit here.

I dun remember walking only 40mins from Rocka Doodle hot fried chicken burger to Seoul Tower.

hahahaha

8 April 2019 - Rocka Doodle hot fried chicken burger for lunch

Took the subway to Noksapyeong Station, exit 3 and came here for lunch.

Came here becos their pictures on the Korean SNS were too tempting lol

The staff told me level 2 spiciness is equivalent to spicy Shin ramyeon and Cheongyang chili pepper.

Level 2 should be ok for me but I went for level 1.

If I did not remember wrongly, I think this was the "Granpa" burger.

Yummy of course!

This could hardly go wrong.

8 April 2019 - Back at 도당산 for Cherry Blossoms

Back at 도당산 Dodangsan to check out the cherry blossom situation but I did not have high hopes to see much flowers left. 

 Just wanna check out the conditions.

This was my second time here.

The first time was during Spring 2018

The Cherry Blossom festival for 2019 was 6 - 7 April, about one week earlier then 2018.

Just imagine how nice this place would be when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

I would hike to 원미산 Wonmi Mountain from here when I have a chance in future. 

Please check out this place for cherry blossom in future!

Hopefully, we will get a chance to go to Korea in 2021!!!

8 April 2019 - Egg roll kimbap for breakfast ^^

Came to Yeongdeungpo-gu for breakfast.

Operating hours : 7am to 8.30pm.  Closed on Saturday.

Yay! 

Came here for this ^^

The eatery is just 3 steps away from Yeongdeungpo-gu Office station, exit 5.

7 April 2019 - Relaxing nite

Ramyeon always seems to taste better whenever I am back in Korea hahahahaa

Using the pot cover tasted even better hahahaha

Killing 2 birds in 1 stone cos I hate washing.

Lovely sunset...

Took a walk to Edae shopping area after dinner.

This street should be familiar to some of you, right?

7 April 2019 - Seoul Botanic Park before its official opening

Decided to check out the Botanic Park before its official opening.

And it was free admission before its official opening ^^

Lovely weather ^^

This place was huge!

It reminds me of the Flower Dome in Garden By the Bay.

To be honest, I think the Flower Dome feels more spacious and better.

It felt bare here.
Not sure if it was due to the season or becos it was not officially open yet. 

  

I love it here.

Spacious, quiet and peaceful.

I will come back again when its officially open.
