15 Nov 2019 - Cafe hopping at Gijang - Cafe 3

From Cafee Bay 266, I walked to the next cafe, Greetvicoffee 그릿비.

I did not see many people along my way.

Yup ^^

Actually, I was looking forward to check out this cafe.

Seems like a popular cafe in Gijang. 

Hahaha probably look the same to you but I really love this kind of places.

Contemplating between indoor and outdoor seating cos it was quite windy and cold.

Finally decided to sit outdoor with my hot tea.

I did not take photos of the interior because there were too many people.

Among the 3 cafes, I like Greetvicoffee 그릿비 most ^^

Finished my tea pretty fast as it turned cold easily lol

That was the bus stop to alight if you are coming by bus.

From the cafe, I crossed the road, intending to take bus no. 188 back to Ilgwang Station but the bus stop was not obvious (no signature anywhere) so I took a taxi instead.

Got on the taxi at 3.21pm and reached the station at 3.25pm.

Taxi fare was 3900won.

So from Hayden Cafe, I walked about 5 mins to the next cafe, 

which was supposed to be Climb Tower Cafe.

But changed my mind after I saw the exterior lol
However from several blogs, I think the interior felt quite nice.

I was again distracted by another cafe (as shown by the red star) which was facing the sea lol

Yup, this cafe caught my attention.

The interior was normal. 

But I love this!

It did not seemed to have an extensive menu as compared to Climb Tower Cafe 

but food and drink were not important to me at that point of time ㅋㅋㅋ

Anyway, I am not sure if this cafe is still in operation since I could not locate it on the map when I was doing this post. 

Moving on to the last cafe, Greetvicoffee그릿비 .

15 Nov 2019 - Cafe hopping at Gijang - Cafe 1

My itinerary for the day was cafes hopping at Gijang.

After breakfast at 양산국밥, I took the subway from Jungdong Station to Ilgwang Station, exit 1.

From exit 1, walk about 3mins to bus stop, “동해선일광역” for bus no. 188.

I missed the bus and waited for about 37mins before I got on the next 188.

I got on bus no. 188 at 12.51pm and got off at bus stop,"온정" at 12.57pm.

The cafe(Climb Tower Cafe) I wanted to check out is as shown by the red marker. 

The dotted line was the route I took from the bus stop.

Took about 3 mins to get to the cafe.

My original plan was to check out 2 cafes along this route.

The red arrow was bus stop,"온정”.

The green marker was Climb Tower Cafe.

I did not check out Climb Tower Cafe eventually but ended up at Cafee Bay 266 as shown by the red star.

The red marker indicates the other cafe which I wanted to check out, Greetvicoffee 그릿비.

I could take a bus to Greetvicoffee but I think walking would be faster and I could see the place better.

As I was walking towards Climb Tower cafe (dotted line shown on the map above), 

I saw this building on my right and I got distracted lol

If you have been following my blog, you would have know that I love places by the sea.

I could not help but to check out this building.

They have seats facing the sea!

Sounds like my kinda place!

More seats closer to the sea!!

This building is a cafe and called Hayden.

Greengrape juice caught my attention.

I think this was the 2nd floor.

I went up to the 3rd floor.

And found this space for myself ^^

So here is Hayden cafe on the map.

Not sure if it is still in operation cos I could not locate it on map when I was updating this post.

Next is my visit to Cafee Bay 266. 

15 Nov 2019 - Very satisfying pork rice soup at 양산국밥

Came here for breakfast.

I have been thinking of this place for a long time...

This sign will not go wrong ^^

I love their Kimchi!

I chose 토렴국밥 (9000won) ^^

따로국밥 (8000won) is rice and soup served in separate bowls.

I wanted my rice to be soaked in the flavour of the broth so I chose 토렴국밥.

The bowls seemed to make the food more tasty too lol

I miss my 돼지국밥 so so much ㅠㅠ ㅠㅠ ㅠㅠ

You can access to the restaurant either by Jungdong station, exit 2 or

Jangsan Station, exit 14.  

It took me less than 10mins by foot to reach the restaurant from Jungdong station, exit 2.
