16 Oct 2015 - Pork Jjigae for dinner

Dinner time!

I went for "2 chillies".
Wanted to order spam as well but decided to gave it a miss ㅠㅠ

Star shaped egg and free flow of seaweed  ^^

Spicy shiok!!

I chose level 2 for my spicy level. It was really spicy...but sooo delicious!! The meat was not tender but not surprising becos so far, all the pork jjigae that I have tried was not tender as well. Nevertheless, it was a really delicious meal. The gravy with rice was an awesome combination ^^ On a side note, I went to Masizzim(Singapore) last Saturday and opted for spicy level 2. It was not spicy at all to me.... I guess I can't use my experience in Korea as a benchmark for the Korean restaurant in Singapore.

Nearest station is Hongik Univ Station, exit 8.

The map I had was inaccurate but if I did not remember wrongly, 밥장인 was located somewhere along the stretch as shown on the map.

16 Oct 2015 - So in love with this place ^^

I was looking around for a nice place to have brunch and decided to settle on this place.
It has two storey.

Open : 10:30am
Close : 3am

A flower cafe indeed ^^

They only have this for brunch. The original dish has beef in it and I requested to remove the beef but the chef was very kind to replace the beef with pork ^^  감사합니다  쉐프 ^^  So in love with the ambiance here. I will come back again to try their cakes and drinks! Btw, they also have those candy floss drinks ㅋㅋㅋ

Nearest subway station would be Sangsu Station, exit 1.
I think it takes around 6 mins from exit 1 to reach the cafe.

15 Oct 2015 - 치맥 by the river

After shopping, I went to 맘스터치 Mom's Touch at Gubanpo to grab some fried chicken.

It takes about 5 mins from Gubanpo station, exit 3 to reach 맘스터치 Mom's Touch.

Yeap. Thereafter, I went back to my favourite place in Seoul.
This place will always hold a special meaning in my heart.
I dunno when I will be back again...seriously.

I decided to take a bus from this bus stop back to my apartment.
Taking a bus from here is more convenient and faster than taking the subway. 
Some Sevit is opposite the bus stop as shown by the arrow.

Bus stop is called Banpo Hangang Park.

I got off at Donggyodong Samgeori bus stop.
 It was also the same bus stop which I took bus to Ansan during my Spring trip.  

Oh!! I forgot what bus number I took...
Only one bus from Banpo Hangang Park stop I think..
Oh dear..I also forgot to note the duration of the bus journey...
Maybe around 35mins??
The bus also passed by Sinchon.

15 Oct 2015 - Finally I get to taste

Self cooked breakfast of kimchi spam fried rice ^^
I will never get tired of this  ㅋㅋㅋ
It just tasted so so delicious whenever I cooked this in Korea.
No seasoning is required.

Happy Korean boys eating their cream buns.
If you remember, I mentioned about this place before at 만나역 [신촌].
It was always long queue whenever I passed by.
So surprised to see there were no queue at all.
Decided to get one bun even though I was not hungry at all.

I had the opportunity to take this picture becos the staff was talking on the phone..

They should have keep the English translation and include English translation for the ingredients..

I chose Tiramoon flavour becos there's cream cheese in it  ^^
It was nice but nothing special or fantastic.
I am not sure why there's always queue for it..

14 Oct 2015 - Delicious Kimchi Donkatsu Nabeh set at Yeonnam- Dong

Dinner at 나베식당.

At last, I had the chance to come here for my meal. I wanted to come here since last year but no chance until this trip. 나베식당 is located in Yeonnam-dong. 

I ordered 김치 돈까스 나베 and I came here for this ㅋㅋㅋ

If you have followed my blog for some time, you will know that I always craved for Donkatsu in Korea. I have no idea why. It is not as though the ones in SG taste lousy but I just have inclination for Donkatsu whenever I am back in my second home.

My 김치 돈까스 나베 Kimchi Donkatsu Nabeh set (7500 won).
This was so good!
I drooled just by thinking of the taste!!
It looks spicy but not at all.
Although the donkatsu was soggy but it was well soaked up with the kimchi broth ^^

Took me about 10 mins from Hongik Univ Station, exit 3 to reach the place.

14 Oct 2015 - Cheap and good hair cut at Chop Hair Salon

I walked around aimlessly looking for a hair salon.
There are many hair salons in Hongdae and Sangsu but I don't want those big hair salons.
Spotted this one at Sangsu and settled for it. 

A hair cut is only 17000won!!

So cheap??

Onzzz!!

Treatment for my length is either 55,000won or 80,000won.

So cheap???

Onzzz!!!

80,000 is a better treatment and I decided to go for this.

Personally, I feel this is cheap as compared to Juno.

Super satisfied with the end result.
All my friends said the hair cut was nice.
I like the way my hairstylist, 미호cut my hair.
She was very attentive and serious with her work.

The hair stylists and staff do not know/speak much English.
I just tell my hair stylist to layer my hair and I let her "exercise" her skills based on what she feel would suits me best.
They have lockers and drinks for their customers as well.
I like my hair cut from this hair salon much more than the one I had in Juno.
This is cheap and good lol
BTW, I think they do not accept foreign credit card.
I don't know why.
