14 April 2017 - Real food!!

Left my luggage in my air bnb apartment and rushed out to look for dinner!!
It was a Friday nite at about 9pm and Busan station was so quiet lol

Whenever I passed by Choryang station, it was either around 8am or 9pm and the station always look like this lol

Dinner at 소문난 불백 ^^
Heard that it was a popular eatery for 불백정식  grilled pork slices rice set among the locals.

1 ) 시골밥상 (Sigol Bapsang) - I think it is a meal with a number of side dishes.

2) 불백정식 - Grilled pork slices rice set

3) 오뎅정식 - Odeng rice set

4) 대구탕 - Daegu soup (Fish soup)

5) 돼지찌게 - Pork stew

6) 두부김치 - Toufu Kimchi 

I went upstairs cos the first floor was fully occupied. 

This is what I called real FOOD!!!

Oh my god....This was soooo delicious that I devoured everything withins 10mins!

Took me about 3 mins on foot to reach 소문난 불백 from Choryang Station, exit 3. 

14 April 2017 - Flight OZ562 from Rome to Incheon Airport

안녕 Italy!! Thank you for the safe and nice trip ^^
Flight back to Incheon Airport was 8.40pm.
Yes!!! Yes!! Finally to my second home!!!

First meal on flight OZ562.
The fish looks very unappetitzing but I did not want the other option, pasta...
The fish actually tasted quite ok, no fishy smell.
I could not stay in Western countries for more than 7 days cos I am a very Asian girl!!
I craved for rice and hot soup lots and I got gastric everytime I came back from Western countries ㅠㅠ
No doubt I can get Asian food in Western countries but nothing beats authentic local Asian food.

Second meal on flight OZ562 and it was pretty good.
I usually eat very little on flight to avoid indigestion.

I reached Incheon airport at about 2.25pm and reached Gimpo airport at 4.15pm.
Where was I heading to???!!

Oh my god....I could feel myself smiling from ear to ear!
I just couldn't hide my happiness as I flew through the sky.
The sky and the air of 대한민국!!!
I am home once again!!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!

Upon reaching Incheon Airport, I dashed off to Gimpo Airport to catch my flight to Busan.
It was about 6.25pm by the time I reached Busan due to flight delay.
That's ok as long as I am here once again!!

It was my first time to reach Korea so late.
I was the only passenger on the limousine bus to Busan Station.
I reached my air bnb apartment at around 8.30pm due to the traffic jam..

4 April 2017 - Transit to Rome at Incheon Airport

Had my first meal while waiting to check into my transit hotel.

Not hungry but I had to eat this cos I knew I will be very deprived of rice and hot soup for the next 9-10 days ㅠㅠ   
Yes, it was a very short trip to Italy because I wanted to spend more time in my second home!

Actually, I could also make do with a nap at the transit lounge but I think I can sleep better on a bed than on a chair. I booked the transit hotel instead of the new capsule hotel as recommended in the email. I still have not figure out why but this is the email reply (airhotel@sk.com) :

I quickly showered, applied my facial care and took a 3 hour nap.

TV was very distracting as it happened that Yong Hwa was on a variety show ㅋㅋㅋ

My economy class inflight meal on Asiana OZ561 to Leonardo Da Vinci (Rome).
The chicken looks so bland and unappetizing but it tasted quite good.

Ear plugs and sleep masks are issued to passengers who are sitting near the toilets ^^
All passengers are given disposable slippers.

4 April 2017 - Spring trip 2017 kick-start ^^

My Spring trip 2017 was a combination of Italy and my second home, Korea.  From the map below, Singapore is depicted by a little red star. You can see that I took a long way to reach Italy when I have direct flight from SG to Italy! Well, dun ask me why but that's ok for me! I was looking forward to my trip back home rather than Italy actually. No offence to all Italian friends out there but you know I love my second home so so sooo much.  Italy was nice and I enjoyed my solo trip there but there was always so much feelings and gratitude whenever I am back in Korea.  I have to admit that it was an excuse to go back Korea but it was also a good idea to recover my jet lag in my second home ^^ I transited in Incheon Airport on 4 April 2017 at about 6am and flew to Leonardo Da Vinci (Rome) at around 12.35pm on the same day.  I shall not blog about my Italy trip here and dive straight into my Korea trip okie? 

27 Feb 2017 - Dinner with my dear friend

So happy to see 재 once again ^^   

 I was surprised that he suggested having Din Tai Fung instead of his usual favorite - Crabs lol

He wanted to eat bingsu and suggested Ice Lab which also took me by surprise Hahahaha
There should be a lot of Bingsu in Korea Hahahaa
재 always go for the original flavour Bingsu ㅋㅋㅋ
The nite was short but it was really good to catch up with him once again.
Hope you can come SG more often ^^

Received a note from Feedspot.com that my blog has been selected by their panelist as one of the Top 40 Korea Travel Blogs on the web. I dunno how it came about but it definitely came as a surprise and an honour. Never thought much about blogging on my trips. I looked through the rest of the bloggers and they are really good. Much more informative than mine! I am not sure if I deserve the honour cos my updates are not as prompt as before. Actually, I felt kinda embarassed to receive the badge. Nevertheless, thank you very much for the honour.

I really hope I can continue to blog about my trips back to my second home and also to finish updating my Spring trip 2017 before my upcoming Autumn trip ㅎㅎㅎ

24 Nov 2016 - 누구세요??

Stumbled upon some tall Korean guys in black and walking in a group.  Took a second look cos they looked like some kind of celebrities.  When I looked up, I saw a group of fans waving at them.  Ok, these guys must be some newbies.  I snapped some pictures and sent to my friends but nobody knew them.  Let me know if anyone of you know who these guys are. 

Many people were snapping pictures of these guys. I heard one Korean Ajumah asked the manager who are these guys. The manager was very friendly and polite(maybe becos they are newbies lol) to reply her but I couldn't hear the group name clearly. I asked two very excited looking Korean Ajumahs who are these guys. They laughed and replied me "몰라". Whahahahaa they did not know as well!!

I think newbies will want people to take many pictures of them for awareness lol

This marks the end of my Autumn 2016 trip. 

I finally managed to finish my updates but still have to update for Spring 2017 hahahaha

Due to my long working hours, nowadays I just want to laze around at the air bnb apartment whenever I am back in my second home.

Wanted so much to explore outside Seoul but no energy to do so ㅠㅠㅠ
