7 Nov 2017 - Dinner at a random eatery in Yeonnam-Dong

Walked into this eatery in Yeonnam-dong for my dinner.

I ordered 돼지갈비찜백반 Pork rib rice set 7000won.
 Looks like curry right? 

Tasted alright but nothing special.

About 5 mins walk from Hongik Univ Station, exit 3.

7 Nov 2017 - The house in "사랑의 온도"

Familiar??
I love this drama so much and wanted to come here lol
Anyway, the house was in 연남동 Yeonnam-dong which was near where I stayed.
I could not find any website that states the exact location, I decided to try my luck by taking a stroll in Yeonnam-dong.
Indeed, I was very lucky to spot it ^^

Dunno what they are packing for.
When I came here, the drama was still on I think.

The playground was opposite the house.
To my surprise, I spotted something at the playground.

Approaching the playground..

Woooo....누구시지??  Who could it be??

No idea who the lady is...till now..

Ahhh...seated beside the lady was Super Junior, Donghae!
I almost couldn't recognise him cos he was really skinny!

Think I had double the luck ^^
First, I managed to locate the house.
Second, I saw Donghae.
It was a fruitful walk ^^

The house is about 10mins walk from Hongik Univ Station, exit 3.
Well, since it is a residential area.
Please do not disturb the peace if you are ever there.

7 Nov 2017 - Good breakfast

Came here for breakfast.
I think I took the longer way lol
Well, it was not that far from Euljiro 1-ga station, exit 1.
About 7 mins walk from exit 1 to this eatery.

Made a right turn into this lane and walk straight.

Make another right turn at "Parrish".

The eatery, "북어국집" is just next to "Parrish".

Came here becos it seems like a popular place among the locals.

They sell only one item,북어해창국 (Dried Pollack Soup).

My favourite, Buchu-kimchi 부추김치 ^^

 

I will usually try the original soup taste before adding the kimchi & buchu-kimchi.

The staff who brought me the food told me to mix this into the rice.

It tasted pretty good!
The mixture contained those salted shrimps (as shown in one of the pictures above), chopped spring onions and sesame oil.
So easy to make this at home ^^

Adding the kimchi and buchu kimchi into my soup ^^

Slurpppp...
Actually, I would still prefer the dried pollack soup at 황태해장국 but this was a healthy and nice meal too ^^

6 Nov 2017 - 1st day routine in Seoul

Went to Homeplus to shop for grocery after a good dinner.
Yup.  All my favorite drinks in one basket ^^

This is considered very cheap right??

Pepero Day on 11 Nov ^^ 

Wow I did not know there were so many cute Pepero other than the normal standard ones.

Spoilt for choices lol

DIY would be really meaningful ^^

This was so darn cheap!!
Fariprice Finest was selling at something like less than $4sgd per packet??
I did not try in SG cos I think chips in Cola or Sprite taste would taste weird...

Since they were so cheap....
The laver almond was the best!
LOL
I bought small packs of the laver almond for my friends and colleagues and all of them said its nice.
So far, I have not seen this in SG.
