30 Nov 2014 - Non stop eating

As usual, the first thing to do after settling down my luggage, was to give thanks at Jogyesa 조계사 for the safe flight. Thereafter, we embarked on our eating marathon for the day. Our first stop was Missleecafe at Insadong becos Kim likes the place.

My first visit to the cafe was in 2011.
Decor remains the same but looked more vibrant.

I ordered 인절미빙수 Injeolmi Bingsu and Dosirak for us ^^
This was NICE!!!
This dosirak tasted much better than the one I tried in 2011.
I think its becos of the spam used.
Used to be a mixture of fish and meat(I think) but now I can taste 100% SPAM!
Kim had a go on shaking the dosirak but we felt it worked the same just by mixing everything together with the spoon. I guess its the feel if you know what I mean Hahahahahaa  Kim made a list of the top 6 Korean food she likes from this trip, and this dosirak is one of the top 6 ^^
Next, we walked over to Samcheong dong to try the famous 삼청동호떡 Samcheongdong Hotteok. The shop was tucked inside a quiet alley and this guy in specs was out here to guide you where to find 삼청동 호떡 Samcheongdong Hotteok ㅋㅋㅋ
That's 삼청동호떡 Samcheongdong Hotteok.

Honey filling hotteok cost 1000won.
Vegetables filling hotteok cost 1500won.
Quite big and puffy!
We decided to get only one hotteok as we were quite full and saving our stomach for another dessert after this :P
Kim chose the honey filling hotteok.
I will try the vegetables filling hotteok in my next trip ^^
Yums!!!  This was the most crispy hotteok I have ever ate!
Kim find it a bit greasy but delicious
nonetheless.

We walked over to the next alley to have another dessert ^^
Saw the signage "Bingo"?
That's the place.
Yeah. I have mentioned about Bingo before.

They close earlier during winter.

This was the dessert that I wanted Kim to try becos it is unlike the usual red bean paste we eat in SG. This 팥죽 patjuk taste a little saltish instead of sweet. I like it, so does Kim ^^
I walked from Insadong main street to 삼청동 호떡 Samcheongdong Hotteok. The blue arrow shows the entrance of Insadong main street from Anguk station, exit 6. Anguk Station, exit 1 is the nearest exit to reach 삼청동 호떡 Samcheongdong Hotteok. I think the map did not reflect an accurate location of 삼청동 호떡 Samcheongdong Hotteok. The star marks the correct location of the shop(I think so). The green arrow marks the location of Bingo but this map states a different location for Bingo...I think mine is more accurate lol
We spent the afternoon in Samcheongdong and Lotte Mart at Seoul Station. Prior to our trip, Kim told me that she wanted to try 냉면 Naengmyeon. Both of us were too exhausted to go anywhere with our purchases, so I brought her to the Lotte food court. We ordered one bowl of 냉면 as we were not hungry. The noodles were very chewy and kinda stick together lol Till now, I still find it hard to like cold noodle. I still love my food to be hot except for ice cream ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Came Korea a few times but yet to try this hahahaa
Nom Nom ^^
The cheese sticks tasted ok ok
Its okay cos I love cheeseeeee...
